Degradation Models
Degradation models are used to relate a test item’s estimated failure time with the wear and tear during its usage period. From a regression analysis of the degradation data, a test item’s lifetime distribution can be inferred. We look at important examples of how an item’s degradation rate relates to its lifetime distribution and outline statistical techniques used to analyze degradation data.
متن کاملANN-DEA Integrated Approach for Sensitivity Analysis in Efficiency Models
Here, we examine the capability of artificial neural networks (ANNs) in sensitivity analysis of the parameters of efficiency analysis model, namely data envelopment analysis (DEA). We are mainly interested to observe the required change of a group of parameters when another group goes under a managerial change, maintaining the score of the efficiency. In other words, this methodology provides a...
متن کاملDegradation Models and Crack Propagation
In experiments where failure times are sparse, degradation analysis is useful for the analysis of failure time distributions in reliability studies. This research investigates the link between a practitioner’s selected degradation model and the resulting lifetime model. Simple additive and multiplicative models with single random effects are featured. Results show that seemingly innocuous assum...
متن کاملModels of integrated care.
This article describes the range of options for integrating medicine and psychiatry, with a focus on the advantages and limitations of each model. The models were developed in different countries with specific health care cultures. This article illustrates the range of in- and outpatient options as currently practiced, with case reports from practitioners when possible, and describes qualificat...
